Drawing Steps - Part 3

DRAW VERY LIGHTLY.

Otherwise these lines will show through your colours.

Add a couple more stripes under the ear.

LIGHTLY draw the cheek stripes! I started with the stripe under the eyeball.

The other stripes are skinny moons that start at the muzzle and get  bigger and bigger until they run into the other stripes. (draw 5 or 6, or whatever fits)

You know how lightly you are drawing the stripes? Now you should draw EVEN MORE LIGHTLY!  (I had a lot of trouble with pencil showing in this part.)

Draw some letter "J" neck stripes starting at the back of the neck.
Notice they stop under the chin, not at the front of the neck.

Add a skinny banana strip!  SUPER LIGHT remember?

Draw the loopy stripe at the bottom of the neck line.

Add a big "U" from where you left off. It curls around under the chin!

Add the LAST TWO stripes! Yay!
They curve around the body on the left side like two huge claws. One is attached to the big"U" you just drew.
